Bridges

Traditional methods to replace a missing tooth or teeth include the fabrication of a bridge. To replace a missing tooth with a bridge, at least one tooth on either side of the space created by the missing tooth must be prepared for a crown. Then a false tooth is joined to the crowns, and the entire structure is cemented to the prepared teeth. The patient cannot remove the bridge, and special aids are available to keep it clean.

Scaling

How would you feel if your smile was a bit brighter than it is right now. White teeth not only look sensational, they build the kind of inner confidence that really gives a smile its electricity. There are choices among tooth whitening systems. New gels and solutions are accelerated by light; laser technology is new and a very effective dental care solution.

Dental Fillings

Dental filling is a way to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape. When a dentist gives you a filling, he or she first removes the decayed tooth material, cleans the affected area, and then fills the cleaned out cavity with a filling material. By closing off spaces where bacteria can enter, a filling also helps prevent further decay. Materials used for fillings include gold, porcelain, a composite resin (tooth-colored fillings), and an amalgam (an alloy of mercury, silver, copper, tin and sometimes zinc).

Extraction & Surgeries

A dental extraction is the removal of a tooth from the mouth. Extractions are performed for a wide variety of reasons. Tooth decay that has destroyed enough tooth structure to prevent restoration is the most frequent indication for extraction of teeth. Extractions of impacted or problematic wisdom teeth are routinely performed, as are extractions of some permanent teeth to make space for orthodontic treatment.

Dental Implants

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants may be an option for people who have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason.

Root Canal

Root canal treatment is a dental procedure to treat infection at the centre of a tooth (the root canal system). Root canal treatment is also called endodontics. The infection is caused by bacteria that live in the mouth and invade the tooth when tooth decay occurs ,fillings leak or when teeth are damaged by trauma, such as a fall .

Veeners

Cosmetic dental veneers and crowns are used to improve the colour, shape and texture of your teeth, greatly enhancing their appearance and protecting them from further damage. A dental veneer is a thin layer of tooth-coloured material bonded to the face of the tooth and is normally applied when the existing tooth is reasonably strong, but discoloured or damaged by decay. A crown, also known as a cap, is used when the tooth is weakened or has a large cavity and it surrounds the entire tooth with a similar restorative material. Both veneers and crowns should last for many years, but may sometimes chip or break, in which case repairs can be carried out.

Crowns

If a tooth has been broken, or weakened by decay or if you have a large filling a crown could be an option for you. Shaped like natural teeth, a crown (or cap) is fitted to strengthen a tooth. We provide high quality crowns that allow light to penetrate through the tooth giving a natural look. We can replace artificial looking, dull crowns, which may have black or grey areas showing around the gums, so that once again you will be able to smile with confidence.

Dentures

Complete dentures are used to replace missing teeth for people with no remaining teeth. Dentures may also be used for people who have lost several teeth. In this case, the appliance is called a partial denture or an overdenture. Tooth loss may result from periodontal disease (gum disease), tooth decay, or traumatic injury. It is very important to replace missing teeth. The ill effects of not doing so can be a shift in remaining teeth, an inability to bite and chew properly, as well as a sagging facial appearance, which makes one appear older than they are.
